Saturday Open Session – Winter

WINTER SESSION – COMBINED OPEN PRACTICE – ALL CRAFT

This weekly session will be open as long as the weather allows.

Important: No showers available during this period. Toilets are available.

Please ensure you dress appropriately for the weather conditions. For SUP we highly recommend the use of a suitable winter wetsuit as a minimum, a drysuit would be better. Always bring a change of clothes. The changing rooms will be available but the water is turned off, so no showers available. Toilets are available.

All craft types are welcome, including stand-up paddleboards (SUP), canoes, and kayaks.

To stay informed about session arrangements and any short-notice changes due to weather or volunteer availability, please ensure you join the our WhatsApp community and look for the group called Club Opening Times. Once you have booked your ticket online, it would be helpful if you could “thumbs up” the weekly announcement in Club Opening Times group to indicate your attendance. 

Important Notice for Visitors wanting to attend a Taster Session
Visitors may attend taster sessions, but please ensure you have made contact or joined the WhatsApp group to be in the loop should the session not be going ahead due to weather conditions or volunteer availability. A mandatory induction must be completed before participating in any club activity.  Please contact us via email to organise an induction session. Please include a telephone number to make contact on.
